We are looking for a passionate Head of Sales that is excited to bring Sleuth’s product to the world. You will play a significant part in realizing a vision where every development team can effortlessly harness the power of metrics to increase productivity and reduce stress in production environments. The Head of Sales will develop and expand our existing sales team with the purpose of driving our business over the course of the next few years. There will be a core focus on developing our outbound motion by targeting and landing key accounts as well as expanding existing relationships with high-potential customers. This leader will be able to achieve these results by understanding how to capitalize on Sleuth’s product led growth, expanding our footprint with a small client base, and most importantly continue developing a culture of success by recruiting and retaining amazing people. Sleuth is headquartered in San Francisco, CA, however, this position will be remote in the United States.

To be successful in this role

  • The successful candidate is an inspiring leader of people who can recruit and retain exceptional sales talent, support the team in delivering on the agreed metrics, and while leading from the front, work alongside the team to exceed the targets
  • Scale into managing a team of front-line leaders and partner closely with other functional teams (CSMs, Legal, Product Management, Engineering, etc)
  • Ability to identify and recruit a team of top-notch Sales and Sales Development Representatives
  • Create an open, inclusive team oriented environment, building a results-driven culture of accountability and transparency
  • Lead by example, set expectations, follow through effectively and provide coaching and mentorship as needed and ensure that managers do the same for their teamBe accountable for consistently delivering and overachieving against targets ensuring Sleuth’s goals, and objectives are achieved consistently and sustainably
  • Executive sales and communication skills - ability to drive compelling customer engagements with senior executives in Engineering and/or Technical Operations
  • High integrity, transparent in internal communications
  • Familiarity with key sales methodologies like MEDDICC or Solutions Based methodologies
  • Systematic implementer of rigorous sales processes. You have proven that rigorous adherence to sales stages leads to better-quality execution and higher forecast accuracy
  • Ability to provide situational coaching and advice and help guide deals to closure
  • Background in selling SaaS products is required
  • Technical aptitude, and ability to learn new concepts quickly
  • You will be a great fit for us if you have : 7+ years experience building and running Enterprise sales teams in the software industry. At least 3+ years experience as a second line sales leader
